It is still a ways out. Wife won't let me wipe out my savings to make this. I'm sure I'll thank her later.

not that you need anyone else asking... but the Nightmare Jack Mini would look good wearing a prototype :)

As much as people have been asking for the On/Off, I am completely baffled that a 3rd party company hasnt made one yet, or Kee hasn't stepped up wiht a little Simon R&D and put out their own aftermarket design. I'm guessing its cost prohibitive maybe? Considering the cost of the Mini, a viable on/off upgrade to the existig reg probably couldnt retail more than 35-40 bucks, and a whole new reg probably couldnt go over 75-80 or there woulndt be a huge market for it. ( look at the 135.00 Virtue Boards and - not selling liek hotcakes exactly )

I did pick up one of the NDZ On/Offs and it does help out a bit. I also noticed the Ninja Reg witht he brass bonnet seems to come out easier than the I-Reg and Centerflag regs I had. Maybe due to the threads kind of forming to the CA, not sure.

Mini's are just awesome. Never had a problem with mine. I had the the reg set at 120psi shooting 280fps with zero kick. I was running stock bolt and board settings, Guerilla Air tank with Myth reg and a DYE UL barrel. Awesome marker. Only problem was you could barely here it shoot. I shot 5 people out and didn't even know it. My friend with a SL74 Ego gets mad everytime we play. Wonders how I shoot him all the time off break with my Mini

Wow 120psi out of the regulator!! I am going to have to try that. Did you have to modify your dwell or anything weired to make that work?

I didn't modify anything. I am not sure what version poppet it has. I would assume v.2 since the board is v.2. It is the LE Olive Mini. I made sure the bolt was lubed decently just to look wet, did not mess with dwell, turned the back cap all the way out. And it shoots like a dream. Put a tech t bolt in and now it won't shoot 280fps under 190psi. So, I put the stock bolt back in. I will try to get pics or a video of it. Got to find the time though.

Not a huge fan of the mini...although maybe I need more trigger time with one to appreciate it. I only test-fired a friends' and it chopped on me. From what I gather, it probably just needed the settings tinkered with (I'm also not sure what version or model year he got, this was a while ago and I know very little about the gun). I also just like the feel and weight of mags better. As long as all the bugs have been worked out of the mini, I'd say go for it.

Got the Mini last night, first impression is that the anno. looks great really thick like my mag, better then the G3. When i hold it it kind of feels like my Emag, the trigger has some side to side movement, dont really like that, but that's and easy fix. It's doesn't have the "toy" feel like the G3 did, it feels solid.
Going to play with it over the weekend I'll post up how it was.

Got some paint thru the Mini today, it functions nicely. Only shot two hoppers worth, the kick was a little bigger then i expected i read that the kick on these was low, doesn't bother me though. I am going to need a shorter tank, my 68ci was a little to long for my liking, the new regs that PMI has are about 3/4" shorter and lighter so I'll most likely get one of those with a 70ci or 50ci tank.
My only compliant is the side to side slop in the trigger. I like the magnetic return the it rattles when i shoot it b/c of the slop.
I does have a Emag'ish (real word?) feel to it.

the side to side play on the trigger also annoys me but the trigger itself is nice. i have only *tested* my mini in semi auto and the thing is a little beast. you get what you pay for in life but i do feel like this marker is worth more than the asking price.it feels solid in the hands but still very light.
another reason why i like this gun so much is because of Simon, the guy has so much history in paintball...his prototype collection will make anybodys head spin...so while its a new gun even featuring new technology...its backed up by many years of experience and knowledge.

one other thing that annoys me about the mini is the clamp on the feedneck...it feels and looks pretty ghetto compared to my angel 1 fly

i will be playing this sunday and will let you know what i think after a days use in the field.
in short my backyard shooting has made me respect this gun and i am happy that i bought it.

The "kick" will go away once the springs are broke in and everything has settled into place. its a sub 2lb gun with no real recirpocating mass, so just the force of the air shoving the ball down the barrel is all you are really fighting.

                          $300.00ish gets you a super light ( under 2 lbs ) super Fast (20 bps ) super efficient ( 1600+ on a 68/4500 ) - can't ask for too much more.

who makes aftermarket triggers for the Mini?
i want to find one that get's ride of the side to side slop in the trigger, but still utilize the magnetic return.
