All this talk of minis made me want show off my new toy

I finally decided to pick up a mini, my only issue with them was them all seemed too alike. Well I think the one I got is a little different........

After kicking myself for selling my aurora shoebox shocker, I HAD to get this. Came in non-working condition, gotta love **nation but a bit of cleaning and tuning and she rips.

Nice, I was wondering who picked that up.... didnt the sales add say it worked great " last time I used it " and all the usual fluff?

I always thought an Aurora gun with black anno tattoos would look sweet.

That thing is absolutely stunning right up to the point that you actually touch it, isn't it?

I really am fond of the "bling" anno's and chrome, but my OCD gets the best of me with fingerprints and smudges. I have found dark or dust finishes to be best for me.

I love aurora guns, I used to have an aurora and black etek, it was hot... but like punkncat said it gets fingerprints on it easily, and the aurora wore off the back of my gripframe from contact after about half a year of regular use.

Looks good though, hope your finish is better than mine (which was PE factory)

Yeah he said it worked great... but the eyes were clogged, the bolt was nasty and the trigger had so much bounce I thought it was set to ramp.

But she is all good now.

And yes this thing is a finger print nightmare

Thanks for the positive comments guys

Hopefully you left the guy some appropriate feedback.

it boggles my mind that someone with a gun that nice just wouldn't take good care of it... congrats on the sweet find tho, especially since it looks like it's in good hands now

I don't understand how people can sell their stuff uncleaned like that. That bolt was disgusting. I keep my stuff spotless and when I sell it, it is clean, lubed and not a spot of paint on it so that all the buyer has to do is screw in an air tank and go. I bet that they wouldn't do the same thing if they were selling a car or house....or maybe they would

Yeah not what I was expecting to get in the mail. Forgot to mention it leaked too, no surprise given the bolt condition... But all that is now water under the bridge since it's sexy and it works.

It's sort of the same way with how parents don't take care of their own blood, they just don't care. But it's ok, the mini is with a good foster family now.

Great post. Thanks for the picks of a messy mini. I just picked up one for my little cousin and I am going to be showing him how to clean it. These pics will be part of the lesson!

Great looking mini too! I am sure you will enjoy it, I know I love mine.

Good looking, make sure another mini doesn't see this fate. I can't even count how many guns I have "restored" from the nation
