little teazer from my homework project

the more research i do, the more great things i see in AGD products. how deep does that rabbit hole go?

I totally see it now, you had me stuck in "think AGD mode". Is it a display of pressure during the firing sequence of the marker, with the "hotter" color = higher pressure?

Velocity!? Wow. My brain wants to know what/how/etc., but I'm hungry so I'll just accept "thats velocity acutally".

this is one of the reasons I like single tube markers most. although angels are exempt from that cuz there just too cool.

the program i am using is FLUENT. which is different then the CFD setup in solidworks which is FLoWorks. im not sure about floworks, but FLUENT will handle just about everything.

speaking of high mach number flows ....

i think im gonna model up a spool, but i expect pretty similar results in most ways.

What is the velocity range there on the side?

High mach!? Really!? I gotta check this out... If it can do Normal, oblique shock and prandtl-meyer flows I would be all over this!

So, it looks like if anything there would be a little back spin put on the ball. Cool project.

Except if he puts a ball in there the boundaries change and affect the pressures and velocities. But maybe he's just looking at the valve flows.

That's why this is the teaser.

Where are you going with this, cockerpunk? Do we get a movie out of it?

there is a paintball there as a boundary.

probably no movie, but some interesting insight into the first odd .001 sec or so of your paintball guns functioning.
