    Gear bag advice.

Looking at getting a gear bag to transport my gear at SPPL games (all gear for both halves must be in the deadbox, can't go back for air, paint, etc.).

    I need to carry:
-2 markers with barrels and air tanks attached.
    -About 12 140 round pods.
    -Pod pack.
    -Mask.
    -2 hoppers.
-Other small items like tools, micro fibres, extra bag of paint, etc.

I definitely want internal dividers with padding for the markers, but don't want too big of a bag as I will sometimes be hauling it a good distance to the fields. But so far none of them seem to be overly large.

I've looked at the NxE large bag, Paintball Bodybag Super and Mega, Eclipse large bag, etc. Probably will be looking to get one used since I don't want to pay $100-$150.

Any advice would be appreciated (or if you have one for sale cheap )
    Thanks

    Been down this road.

The eclipse bags dont hold as much as you think they do.

If you want balls to the wall capacity, Bodybag.

A little less than that, NXE

If you find a cheap bag, like i did, Eclipse

I tell you what, I bought a DYE Navigator a few years ago and its still going strong. Holds TONS of gear. Its pretty pricey but as usual you get what you pay for. Every now and again I see one in the BST's. I highly recommend them.

Edit: it fit inside the hatchback of my Acura RSX (with the rear seats folded down.)

I have the BodyBag and it is HUGE. I can fit a Tippmann A-5 Double trouble in it with both flatline barrels and 2 450 rnd hoppers attatched and still have room for pod holders. It also holds a ald backup marker in the main compartment as well. The end pouches will hold 3 masks each. http://www.actionvillage.com/160-318-0001
Careful though. Temptation to keep putting stuff in there will lead to it weighing 900 pounds

My favorite bag is my wife's EMpire Crosstrainer bag

However, the gun cases will not hold a gun if the tank is attatched. Depending on how your setup is, I'd reccomend checking a pro-shop and seeing if it works before purchasing any bag.

I was in need of a new bag a few weeks ago. I went to a sporting goods sport and picked up a hockey gear bag for $40. Its huge.. I can fit all my gear in it and have plenty of extra room for cases of paint, etc. Only drawback is there is no interal dividing walls, just one big open area.

i've got the empire ultimate bag and it's nice. got 2 end pockets with a ton of room for stuff like spare parts and tools. the main area is huge. even with the pod divider in there which takes up 1/2 of the bag i was a able to fit 3 guns(one of which had a warp feed on it), and A.A. armageddon(a big and long tank and reg), a Pure energy 88/4500, 5 barrels, and 3 hoppers.
also has 2 small side pockets to hold whatever else. plus it came with a mask case.

I have the paintball body bags super bag, and was a distributor for them a few years back. I sold quiet a few locally and everyone else loved them as much as I did. I havnt looked to see if they have changed anything, but the super or mega bag would fit everything your wanting to put in it. Used to, I could easily fit 6 140 tubes, pack, 2 masks, spare lenses, 68/3000, 48/4500, 3 markers (2 in the marker holder, one outside of it), a freak kit (in the plastic case), and most of my spare parts. I used another hard case for my tools, but could have easily fit my tools into the body bag if I needed.

I bought a JT bag in 2003. I don't know the model, but ie had sleeves to hold 12 or 14 pods along the sides. I also had room for 3 guns, 2 tanks, and 2 masks. It is still in good shape. I don't know if they still make them or if the quality is still there, but might be worth checking into.

I was able to get a new Dye Navigator for $150 from the fields pro shop. Ordered it today.
