Been out of the game for a while...

Hey guys, It's been a while. I don't think I've followed anything to do with paintball for a good two years now! Just today I got out the old stuff to see how it's holding up. Just wondering what I could get for a pretty much stock emag, with a ULE body? I've been lurking around the marker forum but it's hard to gauge a price. Also, whats new in the paintball world? Last I heard was something about Smart Parts being evil, and talks of a bps cap in tournament play? If someone wants to help me catch up, it would be great

    Welcome Back!

I think???...... because it sounds like you are getting ready to sell your stuff...... Well your E-MAG with stock software and being in good working order could get you around 550 to 650 depending....check the for sale forum to see how others are pricing them. It seems that they are going for a little more then they did last fall.

BPS caps are in place in the tournament series...."check your local listings for BPS".

If you are selling your E-MAG to just get a mech then you'll be happy to know there are guys in the Dealers forum that do Pnuematic trigger frame upgrades that give you as much speed as your fingers can handle without the "Board" hassles of electronic markers.

Check out the TUNABALL III thread and come out and play with a bunch of MAG heads for a weekend in NJ, no mag required...just a marker...if you come you may not want to sell the E-MAG. Additionally, there is some "new", about two to three year old software for the E-MAG. It is called X-MOD and it has every type of firing program for each tourney series you can imagine.....it is a must for any E or X-MAG......if you get it you will be very happy with it. There is a guy in the Dealers forum who can upload it for you if you wish...fantastic stuff.

More people will have more info but that is waht I know at this time. Good Luck and hope to see you at TUNABALL III! V/R Jerry "Outlaw5" Perkins

Very cool thanks for the input. I am thinking about selling the emag, and just maybe putting a few upgrades into the mech mag I already have. Not sure yet, going to feel it out a bit. Either way I want to get playing some paintball soon!
