    It's Alive!!!

Well here it is the Janus Mag. This is my third build and the one that finally works exactly like it should.

End result I have made it into a Double Pneumatic rig with a firestorm crank activating the two triggers.

The Pneumatic set ups runs out of the main cross bar from a Double Trouble kit to feed the LPR and Valve. I have on/off on each side so I can shut down one gun if it is leaking or non functional. After the On/Off the air passes thru a Y fitting with Macro line to the X valve and Palmers Micro Rock LPR. Internally I have magnet Mods to help snap the triggers back in place.

The one area I am still not 100% happy with is the Right Warp. You can see that the hopper is elevated on the right. This is in order to have space to turn the crank. To elevate the hopper I used an Angel Feedneck. The difficulty is that the diameter of the feedneck is too small to fit the warp. I ended up using a section of plastic pipe to function as a adaptor. The feedneck is held in place by a combination of superglue and JB Weld. I do not believe that this will be durable in the long run. If anyone has any idea how to do it better I would like your input.

It does function well. I put roughly 1600 rounds through it yesterday after spending the majority of the day tuning and trouble shooting the gun.

    Wow.
Since it's on the crank, I'm wondering why pneu it. Were the trigger-pulls to heavy for the crank without it?

Ya, I sorta have the same question. Isnt the point of this gun to get as much paint down range as possible? It seems like the firestorm crank would do some crazy stuff on a RT valve with a rt on/off.

Also.... why the apexs? Isnt that going to mess with consistency across each barrel?

I think it would be interesting to transform both into Electro Pneu so you can control both with one single trigger.

Or you could build a central lever action pushing down the triggers or even connected to the triggers. I think it is totally doable.

Question: do you move with these or do you have them on a turret?

Very nice job: can you post some videos on how they perform?

              AMAZINGGG!!!!

You definitely need to post up more pictures of it. What you did put up was almost only a teaser for as much work as I'm guessing went into it.

I tried building it with a regular style mech system. The problem I had was that the Tabs that actuate the trigger would end up depressing the trigger at the wrong time and it would end of not allowing the gun to cock. You could get a few shots off maybe and then you would have to air down and back up to get the guns re-cocked and hope you get a few more shots off.

I tried building it with two hyper frames and that will work but I had a hard time getting the ULT's to work and changeing the battery on the right gun was difficult.

That brought me to version 3 and this one works like I wanted it to.

                  Why not electro Pneu

May reason why I did not do that is because I wanted this gun to be field legal for Oklahoma D Day and they will not allow DT style gun that works Electronically off one trigger pull.

                    Why Apex

Not really a big fan of the apex but in a gun like this the main function is not accuracy it is supressive fire downrange. As you can imagine hauling this and the paint it will eat is not a game of speed and evasion it is more about keeping their heads down. In that situation I think the apex makes may be a good option but I may scrap them and use something else if I do not like the way they perform.

                      Good Job Man !

                      Once again, awesome job sir.
                      I wouldnt want to :

                      1) have to carry that bad boy and its air supply and paint

                      2) have to buy the paint it will eat

                      3) be on the receiving end of it

I used the Lapco Apexes like that on my A-5 Double Trouble at D-Day and am very satisfied. They're hardly the most accurate barrels, but at 32bps, you don't want to lay ball-on-ball accuracy, you want a shotgun of supressive fire.

However, those heads are a real pain to clean out.
