    Sffudapparel's mag journey

    Hey guys.

I wanted to take you all on a nice little adventure this evening. I purchased my first automag in the fall of 2007 from a guy who owned a paintball store/reball center. Here's a picture of the automag when I bought it (actually bought both, but the RT pro is the one in this story)

By the summer of 2008, picked up an IT body, a black RT pro foregrip piece and pneu'd the intelli frame and added a black CP barrel since the demon barrel didn't match

During the fall of 2008, my buddy went to basic and I decided to build him a mag. So i took some of the parts from mine and built him one. I needed some parts to replace so I picked up a new foregrip first. I also sold the intelli frame and as I always wanted one of the airwalk frames, found one of those. Somewhere along the line, I also found a 14" version of the Demon barrel that came with the gun originally. Lastly, I picked up one of the only 2 shockwave rails ever created.

I hated the raw parts, and I wanted to go with a red/black color scheme to pull everything together (plus, as a University of Cincinnati student, it's school colors) But there's a good amount of red/black colored guns out there, so I decided to switch it up. After talking with Gruntbull for about a month, I was offered to spend lots of money in exchange for my desired anno work. I splurged, and it came out magnificent.

Green/Yellow acid wash. I know the barrel looks lighter than the rest, but that's because it's sooo shiney. The whole gun is polished to the T. I wish I was able to grab a better picture to do it complete justice. (I spent almost an hour trying to get it right for these ones) Here's a run down of my project over the past nearly 2 years.

    IT body
    Shockwave rail
    15* asa
    cp gas thru
    airwalk v2
    cp asa
    x valve (lvl10 / ULT)
    Clamping feedneck
    14" .69 demon barrel
    Weight 2lbs 12oz

That's all. Wanted to give a little props thread to my mag.
Thanks for sharing the journey with me AO. Every part on the mag was bought / traded on here except for the x valve that is the original from the gun when I purchased.

      Nice really like it.

It took me a minute to recognize the rail. I forgot a couple were out there. I think it goes well with the body.

Looks great. Glad I could help in the build

I really like the reverse 15* asa on that emag length rail.

Wow!! In the first pic of it raw I was thinking you had to be crazy to put a shockwave with an IT. Then I saw the finished pic!! So glad you did not go with the red/black
