Dye double frame, got an opinion?

I picked up a good deal from craigslist, but as usual there are a few things you don't need or know much about. I've seen a few of these dye frames in pictures like the one on the automag below, but never worked with one.

The trigger just dangles and the grip seems a little narrower front to back than an intelliframe. It looks a lot like an intelliframe, but it feels very unfamiliar. Is it just the trigger shape?

Anyone mod these triggers or change the grips on these frames? It's real tempting to try my first Maghog-style trigger on.

I never had stainless barrels before. Very pretty with an interesting weight balance. I really just wanted a few parts.

The Dye frames were a nightmare. Most of them needed to be hogged out a bit so the sear wouldn't hit the frame. They worked best with the Dye triggersm which I see you dont have. Once figured out, they did work pretty good.

Thanks. I suspect the trigger may be a 32 degrees model. I noticed that the sear does sit very close to the back of the frame.

Thanks a bunch for the offer, but I probably won't spend any money on it right away. I would like to see (at least a picture of) the original trigger. I have probably seen one, but I can't remember it at all.

The frame had some bumps under the grips. I haven't really dug into it, but it looked like it was plated 'black chrome' and the finish may be coming up there.

It really does seem to be made for smaller hands (mine are pretty average). I'm wondering if a different trigger would help that.

Is this an original trigger on Paintballer2011's mag? Did those frames come with Phillips grip screws and no safety?

I picked up a BNIB Dye double trigger frame and mine didn't come with trigger, trigger pin or safety. The safety wasn't even tapped (threaded) to accept the ones off the CF frames, I had to do it myself. And it did require some "fine tuning" to make all the parts fit. Here's my what my Dye frame looks like
