We left a few messages that night... I know OS and Magman got them. Comprado's was tame, and I know I didn't get to say hit to Simon. Though getting Uncle Phil was fun.

WOW.... I don't know why I haven't gotten around to posting yet (Something about working 24 hour shifts every other day... ) but I have to get my perspective of the event out there.
Firstly, some back story. When I was in Iraq, I followed the posts, saw the pictures, and was so bummed that I couldn't make it, that I PROMISED myself that when I was back stateside I was going to go to this game come hell or high water. I didn't even let a broken foot stand in my way and (don't tell my orthopod) but I managed to have some good games despite being in a cam-walker cast.
Now onto the props!
Of course the first goes to BigE -- thanks for really making me feel welcome. I have been at other user group events and never really felt like part of the group. When I got there, you shook my hand and really seemed happy that I was there. That meant a lot. You are truly an ambassador to the sport.
It was really fun putting faces to the screen-names. It was also fun to see that the spirit of honorable and fun paintball is still alive without the overshooting, foul mouthed, cheating, agg world of what our sport has become... Lunch was awesome! The food at the waterfront tavern was lukewarm, but the company was incredible (and the drinks were cold, and plentiful, but I digress)...
Suffice it to say that I will be back if the economy allows me to!
My TunaBall III Pictures on Facebook for your viewing pleasure.
Other then the drama of my loosing my gearbag to the airline infrastructure for 2.5 days, it was all good.
Thanks for sending out my tanks Scott.. got them no problem.. maybe I will ship my gear USPS next time rather then taking it on the plane..
Later all!
