What are the steps of making my warp hose go thru my hopper, like BlackVCG has, and will i be able to do it with a halo?

this is how i did it for my revvy...
put masking tape all over where the hole will be...put the revvy on the warp, mark the location of the holes on the tape with a magic marker, cut the holes out with a dremel...i think blackvcg used a 1" hole saw (a MUCH better idea)...
i have a warp/halo on my hopper left emag, and i dont have to go through the halo...im not sure if i would want to drill through a $130 hopper...but it can be done
