NO they are not. Not the Mag RT

I think they make an auto or burst frame for a Tippman called an Retro or RT (can't quite remember but someone will) or something similar that is illegal because it cannot be locked out to Semi. Hense the confusion.

But it is not the AGD RT Valves.

AGD, where we are so good we can do it with only ONE tube!

It's the Model 98 RT. It uses excess gas from the cycle to force the trigger back and has a knurled adjuster to set the reactivity. Very easy to bounce/runaway since you control it on the fly.

In short, M98 RT - Banned.
      Automag RT- Legal.

and dont forget the "reflex cocker"

I dont think those are legal either...

The reactiveness of the mag rt is locked by the tank tourney lock (pressure lock). The M98 rt (if I remember correctly) dont have a positive lock, so you could adjust it on the field. Its been a while since I have played with these, maybe they have changed them. As for the reflex cocker, I HEARD they werent legal in all but NEPL events.

But of course I could be wrong.

          thanks a bunch

im still stuck with a tough decision now, automag rt or 2002 cocker

i don't really like how the cocker's look, the mag rt is soooo sweet

i wish they had a proshop or something around here so that i could try each of them out but i can't :~(

it'll all come down to cost like usual anyway :P

          thx again

What NPPL says is you can't be able to bounce your trigger on ANY gun. On RTs ,if you turn the input above 900psi its fairly easy to bounce the triggers. If you're caught doing so , you could be penalized or kicked out. Just make sure you can't easily bounce the trigger.

As a side note , i wouldn't be surprised if all the tippmann kits are banned cuz at a tourney a guy had a ebolt tippmann which he could change modes ingame , the ref took his gun away.

What about an emag in hybrid? I find it pretty easy to bounce the trigger even running around 600psi into the gun. Has there been a ruling on that one? I never use hybrid, just don't like the feel of it, but could they rule that illegal because of it being so easy to change?

Yeah on Hybrid mode, I can get the gun to run away fairly easy. Much easier than any RT I've ever shot.
