    My Minimag proj update

Well, I'm getting pretty close to finishing the classic mag of my dreams, my Minimag RT! I still need to buy a tank, simulated ivory .45 grip panels, have my body polished by LK-13, and buy washers tiny enough for my Benchy trigger rod to take the side-to-side play out of it when I re-install it. Then 'no mas'!

I got my parts back from the anodizer, 125 Customs, last week and finally put it all back together yesterday. The ano came out real nice, only thing they forgot to do was polish the front end of the MaxFlo reg cap, but no big deal. This thing is straight up retro goodness, and ALL the parts from it came from AO members. The original stock Minimag from Tuna, the RT valve from MANN, the Benchy frame from Tracy with PTP, the Eclipse rail, powerfeed plug, & DYE stainless barrel from Sea Chip, and the MaxFlo reg from Pierce. Can't wait to play with it.

    that anno looks nice
polished aluminum panels or steel(if anyone's ever made any:P) for that matter would be nice, and it'd go with the body, max flo, n barrel when u get that done

maybe even get the steel part of the valve polished too

as for the trigger, ive seen some people use scotch tape on the trigger to reduce side play, not too thick, n it's easy to remove if u dun like it

polished alumium grip panels would be a good idea, but I love ivory ones cause they have that touch of old west 'gunslinger' about them! I'm going to leave the valve alone, but the RT would look alot better if it was polished and lazer engraved like the classic valve. I'm not sure why AGD thought to ano the back half a dark grey?

my guess would be because the polished steel wouldnt match the polished aluminum, n yea i do like ivory grips as well but i also like to match things:P
