Emag triggers? Your favorite and why

    the title says it all
i want to hear from you folks who have used every emag trigger out there
then post a compare and contrast and name your favorite
i currently have a fireblade...because that it was came with my lowers
i love it, but would like to hear you all's opinions on the stock agd trigger, or the tunablade, or any other available out there
and a pic of my emag just to show off

To be honest, I really don't like the feel of any of them, but if I had to choose I would say Fireblade.

I like the stock dual finger trigger the best. My main reason is when I RT. I always use the top part of the trigger to get the best RT performance and that's with any of my mags. With a flat blade, it sucks cause your finger tends to ride down

And lets get serious...Is there really any difference, performance wise between a flat and stock trigger while in E-Mode? It's more for looks then anything IMO.

Those flat blades are sexy tho

Ive used almost all of them. Ive used the tunablade (with bearings and without), fireblade, double finger AGD stock, sanded (flat M.E.T. style) AGD trigger)

I personally can walk and rt equally as good with the fireblade and double finger (sanded walks well but i never got it to RT well), and have mixed feelings about the tunablades.

The thing that i love about the tunablade is the bearing... but because of the small trigger guard i find that i need as much room in the trigger area as possible to really get on the trigger which is why the blade styles come in handy. Other than that though this is how i would rank them

Feel : Fireblade (i just love the feel of it due to the placement of the upper magnet)
          Tunablade (with bearing)
          Tunablade without bearing
          stock double finger/sanded

Walkability : Fireblade (blade style gives tons of room)
sanded (similar to above trigger with a light magnet)
Stock double trigger (the spacing sort of forces me to walk the trigger better)
Tunablades (both are snappy but lack of trigger guard room makes it hard to walk)

RT ability : Fireblade with semi heavy magnet (very nice RT sweetspot)
Stock double trigger (middle hump seems to be a good pivot point)
Tunablade with bearing (the bearing makes it a smooth RT effect)
Tunablade w/o bearing (the shape allows for varied RT control)
Sanded (Ehhh... just never could get the hang of it for some reason with this one.

Personal preference is the key with any and all triggers though. I like my triggers to be blade style, snappy return, semi heavy pull, long trigger pull (4-5mm) and activation at exact middle point

I can imagine. I am paying for my set of lowers tomorrow, and hopefully will have them by this weekend. Gonna be awhile before I can use them since they will need a new trigger, and I am thinking of a new anno scheme. This will be my first set and I can't wait. Your thread will help with picking a new trigger though, since I have to replace it anyway. I am thinking a fireblade if I can find one. Any help with that would be much appreciated though !!

I am looking forward to it too- I plan on picking up some emag lowers here soon, and this thread will be useful when I'm searching for a trigger :)

Well this question truly comes down to preference. I will start with my favorite and end with my least favortie. I shoot strictly in semi mode.

#1 Tunablade - With the Sythe style shape I am able to sustain a much smoother and higher rate of fire for a longer period of time. As long as your trigger rod has not been tampered with, the Tunablade works out of the box in "E" and "Mech" mode.

#2 TL63 Emag trigger- I like the feel of the intelli trigger so this one always felt good on an Emag. I heard stories of the top trigger stop cracking the frame. The spot in the frame where the magnet sits. I guess it's pretty thin there. This has not happend to me though.

#3 Fireblade trigger- I like blade triggers but this one falls short for me because of the extra tinkering of the trigger rod to get it to work in mech mode. (When I purchased RRFireblades XMag he had removed the trigger rod and just shot it in E Mode. So I did that with the other 2 fireblade Xmags I have.)

#4 Stock trigger - Im just not a fan the double trigger feel.

#5 LT3 Emag trigger- It is way to short for me. When walking it, my middle finger hits the bottom lip of the trigger. Just uncomfortable.

i have had an issue with shooting mine in mech mode
i have never been able to get it to shoot consistently in that mode
hmmm maybe i need to get a tunablade...
