    The Mag still ROCKS!!!

After seven years of not playing or touching my RT, I finally got a crack at it again. I was a little worried something would go wrong when I aired it up, but behold, it shot all day and NEVER once broke a single ball.
The best part? All my old buddies converted to Ions in the meantime This was my incentive to show them some MAG POWER!!! They scoffed at me in the setup area, telling me to get rid of my relic, but they didn't have much to say on the field when they were walking off!
At the end of the day, the son of one of my best buddies said jokingly,"I'll take that gun over my Ion anyday!"
So I gave it to him. I can't stand the thought of it just lying around when I'm not able to use it.
Evolution may come and go in this game, but the Mag is a rock that will never go away!

I feel the same way! I quit for 3 years, hauled my old mag out of my basement, took it to the field, gassed it up and away I went with no more than a couple of drops of oil. I love it!

Very cool of you to pass some of the smoothness on to the next gen.

Yup, thought it was pretty nice of you to just give away your marker like that. I hope the kid appreciates it for what it is, and holds on to it.

I wonder how many times he's gonna shoot his dad up while his dad is playing with the ion
Way to pass it on, my 7 year old is chomping at the bit for me to build him a mag. He completely forgot all about the Pirahna GTI he has. All he wants is a mag, makes me proud that boy does!!

That's really cool, though i have to say that i hope he day never comes when i'll have to do that, i hope that when i'm out of school i get to play even more, seeing as this year i've played twice, bu part of me tells me that's probably not going to happen.

I am happy to report that there are a bunch of guys 50 and over still playing and loving it. I'd be there too if I wasn't so far away. The great thing is that there are so many of the younger generation getting into it, and you can really see how paintball helps them to mature and grow together. Giving that kid my RT was the best thing I could have done, even though his father rolled his eyes when I did it.

I intend to continue playing until i die or outlast the sport, whichever comes first. But yeah, i had to ref a private game with 7 12 year olds and 2 adults and while they were annoying for the most part it was nice to see because they were working together, plus i think it brought back memories of when i first got into paintball.

Hopefully you spawned another person that's crazy about mags.
