AO: We are back from the dead... again! After an 18 day outage, we are finally alive and well. Who knew how complicated updating software/databases from 2008 would be. I still have alot of tweaks to make, but my main goal was getting everything patched and updated to 2026.
Vbulletin 6 has changed alot since 2008 so we will have a ton of new features to dig into.
The Drop Kick works amazingly with the Z. I have a black one coming to finish it off.
The Geddon has Lukes on/off knob and looking at getting his off-set Z-Grip rail due to the uncomfortableness of the macro-fitting on my wrist. This thing weighs over 10lbs (with out paint) so it's borderline carpal tunnel
My saving grace is the angle of the tank. 85% the weight is rested on the shoulder/chest so it's not too bad.
The adapter up top was from a clamping feedneck that broke off from a unfortunate bunker slide/slam. Was actually a good thing, now I have a Angel threaded vert Warp adapter
Nice! Doesn't look quite as bizarre without the angled qloader but still pretty crazy. I feel you on the weight, I've been moving a lot of my stuff over to ULE just to try to scrape off a bit of weight.. I even got a tingle in my wrist the other week from lugging my heavy old mag around.
If you haven't tried an angled rail like the dropkick or stiletto, you should give one a go. Most of the weight sits right on your shoulder and you use the tank like a pivot point. Makes playing in the front lines/trenches a lot easier.
Edit for pics:
This one's got something...if it only was taken with the right background.
I really think that the makeup of the picture can help present a gun better. I don't need a floor or a fence disrupting the beauty of a piece of artwork. A nice piece of colored cloth can suffice to make a gun look really pretty.
Ever notice that most MOTM's are really nice shots?
