    here's mine

I personally like the looks of an agd pump kit the best.

But I feel anything used to "pump" a mag makes it a TRUE pumpmag.

And as far as price goes. If a kit costs $100 plus then it is worth $100 plus. Doesn't matter who made it.

Was your rail made by AGD? Or a different company?

i'd pass on the rainman kit.

he does good work for sure, but the pump mag kit severely disappointed me.

I've heard nothing but good things about the rainman kits. I had one for a bit. But I liked the looks of my agd kit better.

I'm not sure if they came only in power feed bodies, but I have an original kit, rail, pump and a std. right feed body. I don't know if you've had one or tried one, but that rainman kit is butter.

this is my july 09 motm old skool winner.

this is with my agd kit installed and black stock. the cerebrus kit looks better with all chrome but agd all derlin pump kit has a very smooth stroke.

Looks-wise I like the AGD kit best, and tho it's the only kit I tried, the stroke was smooth enough for my liking

                Here's mine:

I have both the AGD Pumpkit and the Cerberus Innovations Aluminum PumpKit. I prefer the AGD style handles since they are closer and tighter to the body.

I like how Jay8541 improved on the CI design by lowering the mount very slightly which allows extra clearance for minimag bodies, eliminating frictional issues and any binding of the handle against the body.

I've never shot the Rainman kit, but with Tom Kaye himself saying that AGD will not produce anymore pumpkits since its too small a market, its nice to have these aftermarket options available.

Thumbs up to Cerberus Innovations and Rainman229 for making PumpKits and Warped Mesphisto for offering Pump milling services. These days, you just can't go into any paintball store and just buy a Pump Automag off the shelf. It takes time to acquire the parts and properly build one.

Just about a month ago I converted my local store owner's MiniMag into an Automag Pump! He always wanted one!

Anyway as I hoped, there would be more Automags getting back out to the playing fields, what better way than in Pump form!

The reason people charge $300-500 for a used pump mag is the time factor. Even if you bought a classic mag, you'd still have to send it to someone to mill the body and rail for the pump kit. Then you'd have to buy the pump kit. This would end up costing you the same price you'd be paying for a used one, except you'd be spending less time waiting. I used to complain about the price and all, but once I got to used mine, it was worth every dollar. The shot is far more stable than in semi, and you can spend more money on better quality paintballs. I have no complaints about the rainman pump kit, it's buttery smooth, and you can even use a hittman plate on it. I'd say a fair price for a used pump mag should not exceed $400, and that's with rare parts like a splash rail.

well you are entitled to your opinion, but would you take less than 300 for your completed pump? Probably not and the same reason applies for most pump mag owners. The time and money taken to acquire each individual part and shipping it off to get milled and such is worth quite a bit. And Cerberus Innovation Pump Kits are very well made despite being as you call them knock offs. I guess something is a lost a bit when the markers are not exclusive anymore, but they are made for people to enjoy after all

i personally like both of my kits, i have a second gen rainmann229 kit and it is wonderful, very very smooth and with the screw in bolt from the front of the handle you would have to be a monster to pull that thing off. and the cerberus kit is so very smooth, and i like the fact that it isn't delrin. it gives a bit of sturdiness to the whole thing. I was sad that I had to grind the pin and the pump arm mount because of binding but the end result works marvelously.

For me I perfer the AGD kit. Thats all ive really used. Its been on my pumpmag for about 5 or more years.

I would give Jays delrin handled kit a try as its close to the AGD kit.

The rainman kit is nice but not my style. I dont like the looks of it. Thats all I can say bad about it.

I have 2 Tac Cerberus kits and they're money. I'm currently getting both put together and I tell ya what, it's not coming cheap; I've got all my parts except for a body for my other pump marker. Still wanting to get Lukes SS mod, rail milling and then off to the anno shop for them both. Rough estimate...a good $650-700 after all said and done.

If your going with a hopper and need speed I'd go with a Rainmann and a hitman mod.
For looks I'd go with a DSG. Dukie on MCB is going to do a second run
