Can I use my warp to "IntelliFeed" my hopper?

Can connect the "input" of an SCR to the motor on the warp and the "output" to the motor of a servo on a hopper? I was planning on using the same power supply (ie batteries) to power both. I can't see a problem with this. It would basically allow me to use the vibration sensor in the warp to spin the "revvy".

I was also planning on mounting a servo in a "plain" hopper without all the electronics. It seems like to good of an idea. What am I missing?
