I switched my LVL 10 bolt out for a Lvl 7 after having piston issues. Really, why do I need it? I play outlaw so I like the gas conservation, and my hopper feeds faster than I shoot. Anyway, guess who decided to air up his mag and check his Lvl 10 the other night? Ever hear of Garand thumb?

I've gotten very accustomed to testing the lvlx in my mags this way anytime I do any sort of tuning/altering.

I have to be REALLY careful when working on my Minimag (lvl7). I've gone so far as to have my finger in the breach, finger on the trigger and then the "WTF am I doing!?" thought racing through my head

Ironically enough, when I first bought a DP G3 last year, I did just that.. luckily the reg was turned all the way down

Nope, still have all 10 digits. It left one of those nice white spots though.

I always feel a bit nervous when I show people the lvl 10 in my RT classic and then see them pick one of the other mags with the lvl 7 and go to show someone else.

i test using a squeegee mainly for fear of making a mistake someday... :P

Well I did it with a Lvl 7 but didn't finded it to hurt too much unless it hitted on the side of nail and 4-5 tries XD

i've done the same with my rpm. i was wondering why it wasn't firing, i tried to reset the bolt and had my finger in the breech (like i would my x-valve) when i did the WTF AM I DOING thing and just walked away. i recently did the same with my x-valve (pulled out the level 10), i'm going to have to keep an eye out/finger out.
