Glad to see it hasn't changed much.

I watched about 3 minutes of it, it was interesting, but even paintball now i can only watch so much of, well tournament paintball.

I remember seeing pics of that in Paint Check (I think). At the time it was definitely something different.

And if you look carefully a lot of the guys are running stick feeds with a sock lock so that they can shove a 10 round tube in it and leave it be until they are ready to reload... and yes, a lot of the guys have lots of 10 round tubes on them. THere are a few WGP ammo boxes in use too.. and probably some homebrew loaders too. This was pre VL-90.

Did anyone notice that when a player got hit they called them selves (is that one word or two) out ?

Also I love watching people wear camo. It does not hide them, but they still wear it.

Blasphemy! That camo hid those guys excellently on that field!

But yeah, i noticed quite a few things that make me wish even more i could have played back then, then i see the guy in the fishnet tank and the mullet and reconsider.

I think its funny looking at the colors they are using and looking at the color schemes of this brand new 2010 gear.

                  eerily similar.

                  more vids to come hopefully

Scary to think that in a few months, 20 years ago won't be the 80's anymore!

I love the water hazard in the middle of the field. I don't think I've ever seen that on a speedball field.

                          Old videos

Hey guys...I hate to seem like I am starved for attention or I am "pimping" my videos but...ok well yes I guess I am pimping my videos. I feel fortunate to have had a video camera back in our fledgling days on up through when we played tournament ball. Anyways check em out if you want on youtube "RIP0333" Here are a couple of them...wait what is that...a Splatmaster and some 12 grams...hey is that a VM 68? Enjoy

Will watch this in it's entirety when I have a few more spare minutes. I can at least say I was born then, but I had no idea what paintball was.

                            Very cool find.

Hell ya...VM-68 were the **** back in the day. I always wanted one but I came on board about a year after the mag came out so I purchases a mag instead. I still want one tho. I miss the Co2 (aka Dragon Fire) smoke coming out the barrel. Great times

What band was that in your first vid? Sound familiar but...
