    barrel bore for freak

    i just pick up a Phantom want to bore the stock barrel, who good person go to?

    Well you have a few choices, these are the ones I'd recommend, but there are a few others out there that do it.

      Just an fyi.. boring a phantom barrel for freak inserts makes the area near the threads very thin. If you are not careful the barrel can flex, bend and even break. Just a little FYI and warning. That being said, there are more than a few phantom bored barrels out there that have not broken yet. But if you get it done.. be careful with your barrel.

        I had mine done by O'Dells a few years ago. Probably going on 3-4 years maybe (honestly can't remember now). But I've had no problems. It has definitely made playing with my phantom much more enjoyable.

          I had several Barrels that were bored for Freak Inserts for a Phantom I had. I was not gentle with my marker when playing and never had a problem with the barrels breaking or bending. My favorite ones were WWA Barrels that looked like the Justice barrels but for the Phantom.
