Best to contact them and explain - I'm sure they will be more than happy to work with you. Despite some past issues, their customer service is still 1st rate.

Test the thing in a more "normal" installation, even if it doesn't actually do anything.
This is definitely weird for Palmers. ALL the dealings I've had with them were 105% satisfaction, and 110% after they fixed things when they mess up (which everyone does once in awhile.

Unusual for Palmers, when I've ordered things from them it usually only takes 3-4 days to get to the UK and they're always in perfect condition.sigpic

When I received my fatty stabilizer from them, it was taped. It's probably "policy" that they don't tape it, but someone over there isn't paying attention to that policy and is doing a little extra work.Originally posted by EbbedAs far as i could tell without hooking it up it was new. Like the others said, just call to make sure that they'll take it back after you test it. If they sent you something messed up, they should pay to make it right with no more money on your part. You may have to wait longer, but hey.... that's life. Sometimes it doesn't work out perfectly. But Palmers will make it right.
