What length of RT on/off for a classic valve?

Wow, it's hard to believe, but I used to know all this stuff, and then forgot it.

I tried the search function, my terms didn't return any relevant results.

I have a classic valve and I heard that the RT on/off provides a little reactivity. I want to purchase it from the agd store, but I don't know which length. Which length should I buy?

    Thank you.

There really is no right answer. In my pump mags with classic valves, I use .750, but you might need some trial and error before you get it how you like it.

Consarnit, is there a chance it just won't work?

I thought you had to modify a classic valve for the RT on/off to work? It is a classic valve not a Retro or X right ?

This may help you a little. http://automags.org/forums/showthread.php?t=67604 Although a RT on/off isn't really meant for a classic valve, it will reduce your trigger pull, but don't expect any reactivity out of it.

Should be able to get it to work but you might have to tinker with pin sizes.

The standard classic pin is .750". A straight sway of assemblies and you should be able to use a .750" retro pin. If you use a quad oring, you should probably use a .735" pin.

You won't get any reactivity. The differences in the valve from the retro valve won't allow reactivity.
Except for the Automag in front, its usually the man behind the equipment that counts.
