    ...don't do this:

Marker in question was a VM68. There's not much you can do to screw that up; it's like a Spyder only simpler and made out of tank armor.

And people ask me why I don't sell / buy on PbN anymore

LOL PbN nobody's... I don't deal over there anymore either after several deals like that. If your taking the time to sell it, take the time to know what it is!

I disagree, if you're stupid enough to take apart the trigger assembly, I have vivid memories of being very stumped....

Tech was pissed at me for bringing him a baggie of parts...

Then again, that was 10 years ago now.

yeah but simple logic is this: If you don't know how to put it together, do not take it apart. But then again, don't sell something unless you know exactly what it is. The PbN person could have said "lemme have someone look at it" or simply "I honestly don't know, I just acquired it and did not have a use for it"

If he said "I don't know" then I'd be fine, but judging by his typing this kid is 14-17. Nobody has "teched" a VM68 at an event for at least 8 years so that's kind of a BS answer, never mind the fact that (and I forgot to mention in the original post) it has "upgraded internals".

I'm sure the mcb guys could tech a vm68 at one of there events, but I doubt the seller knows that

The Shizznizzle = Older then the seller

Reminds me of a time, back around 95, when my friend took his VM apart, and couldn't get it back together. The guys at the shop were giving him hell over it. I think it was something with a spring and the trigger assy (like vf), although it was a long time ago. That was another reason I used a mag - I never got yelled at for being unable to put it together.

I realize the trigger assembly sucks, but I was worried about the upper and lower tube. When most people say internals, they mean bolt / hammer / valve / main spring / etc. I certainly wasn't expecting the guy to strip down the marker to every individual part, but if you advertise "upgraded internals" it might be good to know what they are

I used to have a VM and I put in an after market valve. It's been so long I dont remember who made it though.
