AO: We are back from the dead... again! After an 18 day outage, we are finally alive and well. Who knew how complicated updating software/databases from 2008 would be. I still have alot of tweaks to make, but my main goal was getting everything patched and updated to 2026.
Vbulletin 6 has changed alot since 2008 so we will have a ton of new features to dig into.
What holds the ball in the barrel there is no detent for this? Do you size the ball snug with the barrel bore to keep it there? I am new to cockers my bushmaster and all other guns have a detent to hold the ball in place?? Help me see the light
that is correct. The barrel must be a small size bore in order to keep the ball in place. If not, it is the equivalent of a phantom without a detent ring, it just rolls out.
That is one of the main reasons people say that cockers are more accurate due to closed bolt design... its because the closed bolt design forces the paint to bore match to occur in order to prevent roll outs
You can use some manner of widgit in the barrel to hold the ball in place. I have used nail polish, and have heard of people using a small strip of electrical tape.
