Tiger Stripe Paintball dba Special Ops Paintball is Winding Down Operations

That's right...Tiger Stripe Paintball which has been doing business as Special Ops Paintball is winding things down. Slow sales and the general economy have forced this decision.

    That's the Bad News!

    Now for the Good News!

I am starting a new company.

The new company is Extreme StitchWorks and is a Soft Goods Manufacturing company. We will specialize in providing custom Soft Goods as well as small to medium sized runs of production Soft Goods manufacturing. We will do this for the paintball industry as well as other industries. Players and teams will be able to purchase custom Soft Goods products from packs, vests, and apparel to gear bags and accessories. Dealers and manufacturers will be able to access our production capabilities to bring in existing products or to have their own products developed and manufactured in small enough quantities to be able to offer low risk innovations as I will be able to offer very reasonable MOQ's (Minimum Order Quantities) at wholesale prices.

Soft Goods have been recognized as "What we do (did) best" at Special Ops Paintball and I plan to continue to bring the players the gear and accessories that they want and it will all be made right here in the USA.

I will also be leasing the rights to the Special Ops Brand so the brand itself and the store site www.specialopspaintball.com as well as this forum, will continue on. Effective immediately, my new company (Extreme StitchWorks) will take over fulfillment of all existing and incoming orders. Resale items and close-out items will continue while current supplies last. Special Ops Soft Goods and select Hard Goods will continue to be available indefinitely.

So, while this is a sad day, I am very excited that we (Extreme StitchWorks) will be able to continue to bring you new and innovative Soft Goods and that we will be able to continue this forum. Please watch for some great new products that we have in store for you over the coming weeks.

hey I wasnt too far off when the speculation was going round that a paintball company was closing, and I suggested Spec Ops - good too see someone stepping into another niche market to try and keep things alive.

        Styg

Got any suggestions or innovative ideas to carry a 68/4500 and 4 tubes without the darned thing bouncing all over the place or being too bulky?

Got an old timer that all of 110 lbs soaking wet thats starting to have a rough time hauling his gear on and off the field, thought it might make for a nice off season gift for him.

Hehe, actually MedicX and Moati are two seperate individuals

The short version of this all is that the names and faces who have been associated with the SpecOps Soft Goods Dept will continue producing goods under the SpecOps brand name. The new FusionX lineup is in production now, and I know we've got other great stuff coming down the line. SpecOps hard goods will be operating on a much smaller scale, and we won't be operating as a redistributor/storefront anymore.

Styg, if you're looking for a vest, I'd recommend the youth Broadsword IX or a Dagger7. I'm 6'1 and 130lbs, and either of those adjust to fit my size and have some adjustment to spare. Plus, I love having a horizontal 68/45 on my back to keep the remote length nice and short. And either vest is incredibly light and streamlined. I was amazed how much weight we were able to shave off the old Broadsword vests for the Broadsword IX (the Youth size holds 4 pods instead of 6). If you're looking for something to tote the tank and pods to the field, we've got the new nomad pack. Sounds just like what you're looking for. http://shop.specialopspaintball.com/...chel-pack.html

Thanks for all the well wishes guys! While it's hard to see this happen, I'm personally glad to see us moving in the direction I've always seen as our strength, soft goods.

This is true. Although some say we look alike, I have hair! Just helping MOATI get the word out.
