    Luke,,,

I have a questions for you... Is the spacer between the body and feed tube needed or can you connect the 2 together like a Sheridan PGP with the exposed hole in between the 2 ??? I would like to have the springfeed mod done to a right feed body but like a PGP.... Thoughts

    Thank You Brother

I do them that way for a few reasons and the tubes are already made... Any reason you want it done that way?

(Sorry for the thread hijacking, wasn't my original plan)

Thanks for taking that to pm. It is good to see designs you like and other springfeeds. The spring kits look great too. The focus is on ULE body feeds, attachment without modifying the body, and attaching as close as possible seems to be the issue. This is one option:

The problem with the above feedblock is the ball drop, the balls get held up when spring pushed. That's why the SW pic has a feedplug to guide balls in.

                  Elbow grease

After some grinding and sanding it's starting to take shape.

                  Changes for V2:
feed tube set screws move to the sides
2 more feedneck set screws on the sides
reduce profile to the diameter of feed plug
                  extend feedblock covering/supporting feed tube

Let me know what your thoughts are.

I have some different tube coming that will fit better with the drill bit I have to make the feedtube port. Under the vigerous shake test (shaking the marker as fast and hard as possible) with fully loaded tube, the unit lasted about a minute before pulling out of the set screws. When I get another chance I'll make a V2 and it should be rock solid. Anyway here is my test setup to get an idea on the profile.

Sky , what are the setscrews locking into ? a short threaded piece that goes in the body ?
How about a broadside pic ? I'm pretty sure you've sold 1 allready

yep, right now it's a small threaded ring as you can see in the above pic w/ black feedblock. I'm going to use a modified straight feedneck (like the ones off a warp body) with either a grove or holes for the setscrews to sink into.
