I shipped a race frame to france a few months back. I think I put grip frame or something like that. The guy got it safely , and alot faster than I thought it would take.
The guy at the post office said they usually didnt have any problems with the mail system in france.Comment

I live in Brazil. I`ve lost some three, maybe four packages in the mail. All of them said paintball so now I always ask the seller to write "used sporting goods", which is not a lie in any way but gets through customs a lot easier.Comment

I've had a mix of stuff on packages sent to me in the UK - 'sporting goods', 'machined aluminium parts', 'paintall parts' and all have made it through. My advice would be to specify that it's paintball related if the parts are easily recognisable as coming from a gun, to avoid any confusion with customs.
From a buyer's perspective, tracked shipping is always a god send, otherwise you have no idea if the package is unsent, lost or stuck in customs.
I've had no problems in the past with international shipments via USPS or couriers like UPS or Fedex. Only downsides with USPS are that it tends to take longer to arrive and they partner with Parcelforce in the UK, which means a looooong drive to reach their depot to pay customs fees and release the parcel - couriers are normally easier (but more expensive for the seller!).sigpic

Tried that with canada and the package never made it to customs. The shipping company returned (an empty box...yah they opened it) to me and said they thought customs would think firearms.Originally posted by ShirowI filled it out truthfully, I shipped a barrel and wrote 'Paintball Barrel', it made it there fine.
Fortunately it was insured.Comment

Paintball is legal in Germany, however you should not send any markers/guns to Germany as they need a special sign to be approved/legalOriginally posted by wetwrksBTW guys, remember that some countries have outlawed paintball and you could potentially get in trouble trying to export an illegal item.
I know Germany is on that list now.
Parts are usually no problem as long as you do not declare it as paintball stuffComment
