    Remote Line & RT Effect

Just curious if anyone has any experience RTing with a remote setup. I'm thinking of giving the R/T effect a go with my Tac One. I have a tank with a shim able reg.

Also how well do these RT @ 280 fps

It's all a matter of input pressure. The Higher the input the easier it is to sweet spot. The FPS on the business end doesn't have an affect on the RT effect.

not entirely true, you do come up with some recharge issues on a remote. I remoted my RT for years. With my geddon on gun, I could RT @ 900 psi ish, Remote I needed closer to 1k to prevent dropoff due to recharge time.

It was only ever a problem on long bursts. Short bursts you should be ok.

Im only asking because have never seen a good video of a Tac One RTing well. Possibly because of the LVL x

Level 10s don't go reactive as well as level 7s. That is because of the higher chamber pressure of the level 10. The same is true in reverse for lower operating velocities. Lower velocities have lower chamber pressures, which give a greater pressure differential and go reactive easier. Flow rate has a lot to do with reactivity. Remote setups don't provide as much flow rate so they will have a harder time maintaining reactivity past a couple of shots.
Except for the Automag in front, its usually the man behind the equipment that counts.

it can be done, It's just hard.

I've done it, requires an adjustable tank and a ULT.

I have a remote RT rig. Level 10, x valve, RT on/off, with a max-flo inline on the bottle. It RT's very well.

My 3k flatline bottle would not do it. I never tried it on the marker though. I use the same hose on the max flo now.
