    Autococker question for AC gurus

    What type of aluminum is an autococker body made of? 6061, 7075, etc?

        I would guess 6061 or softer. Consider how easily they're damaged...

        There's a reason you could (and still can from some people) buy AIM Eagle, AIM Crow, WGP ProStock, and WGP Superstock bodies new for anywhere from $20-$50 even though they retailed for $150-$200 in 2k5-6. They all used softer material, I'm guessing as a cost cutting measure, as well as to facilitate the complex milling found on each model.
