I did for a long time and came to this conclusion:

Mech mags are 4 times the fun.

I'll take a Sport Shot hopper and a mech mag any day over a pump.
I'm with punkncat on this one.

there is nothing better than tearing up the rec or air fields with a pump. Pump is pretty big in AZ, esp at the field I play at. When anyone rolls with the rec players oin air or rec field, they all fear the pumpers. they all want the pumpers on their teams.

QFT. I've been a semi player for years, with the occasional pump play in between with a phantom. Sure you suck at times, but you are one of the players that get feared if you put some effort into it. Now i have a T2, and i am feared, and my autotriggering hated. The players that play pump exclusively are by far the most dangerous opponents.

I've got mech mags, e/x-mags and even a 09 ego, but playing with those just isn't giving me the same fun as shredding trough the semi oposition with a pump.

Yup, traded my last mag for an ss25 so I could do it up right and tight. Played with it about three different days. Apparently I have played semi way too long, as I kept forgetting to recock the darn thing. Coupled with the fact that I am so slow nowdays, I need to be able to fire my marker fast enough to hide behind when I move.
