Wow, I'm hoping this somehow lands me a new-style blue one with the traditional AGD logo.

    Thanks, DM!

        Please clarify

I would pick up a few, what is the difference between the new and old style?

The old style needs an tool to switch blades, the new one has a sliding switch.

Is it just yours, or is it a common problem with the new style?? I'm in for two, just not sure which style, vote later.

I have a utility knife made by Sheffield. It also has a tool-less design, but it's a lever action deal that would get tripped if I wasn't careful cutting drywall

Is this a pushbutton? I do like the one handed opening knob on there.

EDIT: DM, I read you took your bro's apart? Just with an allen key? Big plus...

Has anybody tried a 'heavy duty' blade in their superknife?

I have a stanley work knife that takes these blades, but the opening is too small for the heavy duty blades.

                        I've got a Snap-On with a 10-blade magazine that autoloads

You squeeze the body and the razorblade quickly extends out the front. Press the "retract" button, it snaps back in.

Broken blade? Squeeze the body and extend the blade, hold down the safety, pull out the broken razor. Press the "retract" button, squeeze the body again, and it's got a new blade from the magazine! I wonder why it was discontinued Wicked helpful cutting boxes though.

Seriously a dangerous "toy", as you can hold down the safety, squeeze the body, and LAUNCH blades about 10ft.

Seriously, I should make a video of the thing at some point. It's too scary-looking to use in public.

Anyway, at the $12-$18 price range I too would be interested in (1) Blue New-Style AGD logo knife and (1) Black New-Style AGD logo knife.

OK, I voted for New Style: one Tactical Black, and Lederhosen Red, and no, it did not match my lederhosen, I checked.
