Poll: How many use 3k vs 4500??

Guys,

With my new approach, 3,000 psi is looking doable but 4500 is a bit harder. I need to know how many of you out there either use 3k regularly or would settle for a 3k compressor because your just tinkering etc. This would be for a compressor that would hopefully be right around the 300 buck mark.

3k would work for me. Most of the fields I play at only fill to 3k anyway.

i only have one 4.5k tank that's usable at the moment, i have three or four that are the older 68/3k flatlines though. most filling i do is off a scuba that only gets me to around 2700 psi max anyhow... so a 3k station is hardly going to hurt my feelings.

I own and use a carbon 68 3k... but only cause I got it for free! When I do buy a tank I won't purchase a 3k unless its like a 13ci for a pump or something. However if having the compressor be only 3k drops the price significantly go for it!

I think I speak for everyone that anything would be better than nothing. 2k would be fine. 4500 everyone would love but 3k we can live with.

I personally would want 4500.

I only use 3k. That said, I don't think anyone will be relying on this to fill their tank before dashing off to a tournament. 3k should be more than enough for either gun teching or playing out in the boonies.

Absolutely need 4500 if it helps I'm willing to invest in a better shop compressor

Looks like we are going to need two models. 3k budget and 4.5k deluxe.

I just see this as a tool to assist with tinkering and save me having to make a trip to the dive shop to fill my scuba tank, so 3k is fine. All the sites I play at have 4.5k air, so it's not going to be used to fill my tank for playing.

My scuba tank is 3000 so as long as I can fill that then I'd be happy.

My local field only fills to 3000 also.

This would be one of my reasons for having the compressor go to 4500... I'll top off at the field before I leave then once home I would fill my tanks the rest of the way. for the next time I was at the field for game play.

All my tanks are older 3K tanks. I dont plan on buying more tanks until these cant be hydro'd anymore. So 3k is fine with me.
