I've seen them on markers, I've heard people talk about them, obviously folks like them, but for the life of me I can't figure out what one of these grips is actually for. Is there some way of holding a marker that this makes possible or more comfortable? I'm just not seeing it. . .?

It goes on the back something like this. That is on old RPG snatch grip. They make the marker much easier to lug around.
