I don't know him, and I don't know what it "says a lot" of, I just know that I'd have liked a crack at it and so would a lot of other AO'ers. I've got a "Corvette Upkeep Fund" that, with the hopefully imminent sale of my Corvette, could have been turned into a more-than-reasonable offer on this SFL.
