I'm wondering about that, too. I gathered that since there were three of one size and five of another, they go on the tips and backs respectively, but that seems makes removing the tips from the backs way harder than it should be. Is that normal? -

Yes, the o-rings go on the tips and backs near the threads. To make the two pieces easier to remove, put a little lubricant on the o-ring. Call me weird but one thing I found that works really well is forehead oil lolComment

The oring act like a locking mechanism so the barrel fronts don't come vibrating off while shooting. Makes the fronts fit snug into the backs. There should be enough for the backs as well. If not it would behoove you to get some.Comment

So I finally got to test my gloss black Kaner kit out today, and I must say I feel a little stupid. It looks great, and shoots fine, but all the barrel backs are too large. I can't believe I didn't think about this before. I have three kinds of paint in my workroom right now, and all three were too small for the smallest barrel back. The cold probably has something to do about it (it's freezing outside right now), but this is the weather I play in for half the year, so I don't think this kit is going to work for me.
I'd be willing to sell the kit for $95 shipped..... but I need something to replace it. What I really want is another autococker back for my scepter barrel kit, but I've looked around and haven't been able to find one. Anyone have any idea if such a thing even exists?Comment

Maybe get the one-piece 0.679 that they have on sale on MCB to complement the kit? The paint I have seems to be just right for the smallest back, so that is my plan in case I ever run into even smaller paint.Comment

This is precisely what I'm doing. You have 2 choices in either the CP or Lurker's barrel (which is a .678 I believe).Originally posted by DoubleDutchMaybe get the one-piece 0.679 that they have on sale on MCB to complement the kit?
