Well after hesitating a bunch I finally picked up one for myself, My friend back home had bought one over the holidays and i finally caved in after watching some of the videos we took.
I do have to say that this little bad boy is rather impressive, 720p at 60 fps( slow mo awesomeness!), not to mention the 1080p at 30 fps. 5 megapixel photos with a timelapse setting that can take pics at intervals of 2-60 second.

I havnt had a ton of time to get out with it yet but I will save some space here for a full review of it as a gun cam and snowboarding.

My friend has like 3 or 4 of these cameras in both standard and HD and they are absolutely incredible. The wide angle model is great for paintball.

He's had one of the cameras detach from him while going down a ski slope. It rolled and bounced for 30 seconds and was buried in snow and never skipped a beat. I can't recommend them enough if you're into this sort of thing.

Here is a link to one of my teammates youtube videos. He has been using the standard cam for quite awhile, and just recently upgraded to the HD model. I don't think he picked up the GoPro, but I'm not sure. I do know the one he has records in 1080p. I could tell a major difference in the clarity, and the colors with his new camera. Check his stuff out, and feel free to ask him any questions. He will be more than willing to help you out anywyay possible.

I especially like this video since it features me pushing players across the beach at Skirmishes Invasion of Normandy game last August. Thats me with the red/black Social Hazard t-shirt and wearing the red I3 pro gogs. It was my few seconds of fame, lol.

one question about these.
Can you replace the battery pack with tripple or double A's (you see this sort of thing in radio's alot) because they don't sell spare batteries as far as i can find and the battery life is a little short for me.
