    My top-hopper-less, warp-less Mag setup

Just finished tonight! By no means is it the first Reloader B powered, box magazine fed setup, but I have actually never seen a Mag set up this way, so I thought I'd post mine.

It will complement my traditional Warp setup on my E-Mag, and perhaps even replace it if I determine that it feeds fast enough.

The guts for the magazine are a standard Reloader B, and the case itself are two child-proof outlet covers epoxied together. Something I wanted to do different from the other box magazine setups I've seen, is that the magazines were shaped like traditional LMG boxes, giving a wide frontal profile. I went for as narrow a frontal profile as I could.

It ain't too pretty, being a prototype and emphasis was on function rather than looks. It feeds fine in tests, and the first field test will be tomorrow!

Oh yeah I was able to cram 200 paintballs in it, but I don't know if it will feed with that many.

I would love to make a custom molded plastic box for this, but I can't find anything that sounds durable/cheap/easy enough. My ideal shape for the box would be like it is now, but with it tapering up towards the front so that it makes a good grip. Any ideas on how to accomplish this would be much appreciated.

          Very cool!

Ive always wanted the warp setup but without having to put a hopper atop it. Sort of like having a 200rd q loader.

          Good stuff man

What supports the weight of the hopper when its full of paint, I don't see a bracket ?

Do you have pics of the passenger side and internals?

Exactly what I was going to ask.

An extra-long vertical ASA bolt goes through the hopper, I have it cranked real tight and it seems to hold.

On the passenger side, I currently have the cut-out board velcro'ed to the side. I think I need to move it to the back of the hopper, as I think because it was pointing away from the gun it was not hearing all shots.

Here is a pic of the internals. Tests today were inconclusive, as I had only a little time to mess with it, today was TUNKA pump day.

What box did you use to start? How many balls does it hold? I really liked it.

I used two of these, expoxied together.

They were the right size and shape, and came apart easily, and stayed together tightly when needed, and the youngest had outgrown them. I managed to stuff 200 paintballs in it, but I am not sure it would feed well at that point. So probably 170 or so.

Update: The copper fittings were not feeding well, so I replaced them with super warp hose. It worked better, but while RT'ing, it would dry fire or trip the lvl 10 every 5 shots or so. It would have no problem keeping up with a Classic though. Not sure if I need better batteries (I am using 2 9V's in parallel, as I do not have the 6 AA pack), or perhaps the B2 upgrade. I shall keep experimenting.
