It would appear to me that there is a demand for 15 degree asa's. Everytime someone posts a bunch of parts in the buy/sell forum, the 15 degree asa is the first to go. It would also appear that no one has any problem selling one for $35-$45. So, that being said, how come no one is making/selling these (or is someone making these, and I don't know about it?) Tunaman used to sell them, but has them listed as 'out of stock'.
I noticed something in the F/S thread...

What always amazes me about 15* ASA's is how stupid expensive they are. No offense to Rogue or anyone else who's trying to sell one, but it flabbergasts me that a little tiny piece of metal can sell for $40. I can get a decent barrel for that much.
And there's really nothing special about them either. There's no valve or on/off like bottomline ASA's. They're just a round pieces of alumunim with a few threaded holes in them.
I guess it's just an example of supply, demand, and prices. I love economics.

Dude...I totally agree with you! Part of my reason for starting this thread was to complain about how expensive they are. But I realize (like you) that it is an example of supply/demand. People will pay that much for them, so people are going to sell them for that much. So, I didn't complain, b/c I thought it wouldn't matter...Originally posted by rawbutterWhat always amazes me about 15* ASA's is how stupid expensive they are. Horizontal ASAa
The horizontal ASAs are pretty much sold as soon as they are listed. The missing link in the pistol mag/sydarm build.Comment
