    The Stormwalk

I picked up a stormwalk trigger frame and I'm sort of puzzled about it and thought I'd ask a few questions and some comments to see if I could get some imput on them.

The stormwalks' got more holes in it than a lump 'o swiss cheese- Many of these holes make sense to me, some do not- We'll start with the ones that dont. I'm sorry I don't have a camera to take pictures here but maybe someone can explain some ins and outs or something.

    1. Looking at the front of the frame where the "battery pack" would be there are two small setscrews. the holes for these screws go a bit more than an inch back towards the back of the frame and dump into the holes that presumably are for elbow fittings for a sleeper setup (there seems to be many elbow fitting holes on this baby). I'm not sure I see the reasoning for these to be there though, unless it had something to do with steadying the frame on a cnc.

    2. Seeing how it's got a hole for everything you could want to do to the marker, why arent they completely drilled for a pneumag setup? Seems to me you have the hole for a LPR in the frame, but not the set screws to hold your ram/msv-2 nor the hole to put a trigger pin in.

some of those holes were made for the air lines...they just need to be capped off with a set screw.

Yeah, but these look like barb fitting holes in the front, I'm wondering why you would put barbs on the front of your frame.

Corret me if I am wrong

the small holes are the ends of the internal air pass thru that need to be capped off with small screws.

The air comes up thru the bottom and if you are doing a Pneumatic Setup the LPR ends up inside of the battery box. there is an C shaped air channel cut into the metal of the front part of The Battery Box area which routs air to the upper port and you can then use fittings to route the air to your valve. You use a hose off the LPR to bring that air back to your ram in the grip area.

Oh, ok, I see how that works, given your other options not sure of the benefit of running it that way vs. mounting your LPR in your frame- but I guess it's a different strokes thing. Thanks

4-40 set screws will fit the small holes just fine. If you don't have any. Ck Lowes or Depot. They we're made for either a E, EP, Pnum or straight Mech setup. It would have looked like Swiss cheese if Jay tried to accommodate every build so he left it as is so the buyer could set it up how he wanted.
