Very nice, I have been thinking out making/having made an AGD shirt as well.sigpic

I was thinking about it for a long time. Then I made a few attempts at making the screen, whenI failed a few times i abandoned the project, then a couple weeks ago, instead of remaking the screen, I just used chlorine to get rid of some blotches and now the screen is great. But as you can see in some of the pictures, the print on that shirt is kind of messed up, I think I need to clamp the shirt down or something.

That's nice! Maybe you could have a batch made for the MOTM winners again? What do you think about doing a batch, sell half of them (for twice the cost) and have the other half as a prize? I'd buy one...

I would like everyone who wants this shirt to have one! And I agree it would be cool as a MOTM free prize.
I am not too interested in making money since the profit would be minimal anyway.
I just googled a place to buy T-shirts, turns out I can get a plain shirt for about $2. I have plenty of black ink, for those who would prefer white ink I'd have to buy some of that (a few bucks).
I'll think about this and see what I can do about getting everyone what they want for as little money as possible.

Well you guys could always send in a shirt or 10 for him to do
That way there's no
about the quality of the shirt
Edit: a buddy of mine use to do stuff like this and if I remember correctly he would stretch the shirt a little where the design is going to be. It makes the color look darker when it's released but the pattern will shrink a little..
It's like writing something on a balloon, when it pops it shrinks down but the color is darker.Last edited by Ando; 02-16-2010, 07:26 AM.

You should check out your local craft store (sounds kinda gay I know) and se if they can hook you up with a deal if you buy a bundle. A buddy of mine makes his own shirts, and he has the craft store place orders for him and they give him a good deal on them because he buys all his ink there for full price.Originally posted by questionfulI would like everyone who wants this shirt to have one! Might be cheaper since you wouldn't have to pay shipping.

That's awesome. I would add my vote for black w/ white lettering, although I would gladly buy one of each (one black, one white).
I think these might end up costing more than you think. Sure, you can get a t-shirt for $2, but usually those kinds of cheap shirts are designed to be worn UNDER clothes. They're too thin and stretch too easily for outer wear. If you want a good, quality shirt that's inexpensive, I would echo Will's suggestion of going to your local craft store. You can usually find nice t-shirts for about $5 there, and you may be able to talk them into some kind of bulk deal.
Also, after buying all the ink, remember that you have to ship them too. That's gonna cost another $3 or $4 minimum (you'll have to buy big envelopes too). So, if you charge $10 a shirt, I think you'll barely break even.
HOWEVER, all that being said, I still think the shirts are worth doing. Personally, I would eagerly pay up to $15 for a nice, quality t-shirt to advertise automags. And if you could do it in black with white lettering..... ever better.
Two dancing bananas for you.
