Can anyone tell me about the ProLine AutoResponse frames? I've been around for awhile but never heard or seen this frame before. What's so special with it that it competes in price with used Z-grips? Are they reliabe triggers? Super heavy pull? Anything. Thanks.

Very long trigger pull, fires on the pull AND on the release. Stiff, lots of side-to-side slip, and the trigger sits at a weird angle when not in use.
They're unique, and cool in a goofy sort of way, but they're not legal at most fields and frankly they're just not that comfortable to use.

I'm just saying if you put one next to a Benchmark single frame (and the milling is almost identical so really the only way to tell them apart is the cant of the ProLines trigger) it's just not very comfortable. They're unique in their function, but they're nothing like a standard trigger. I've got an AR-framed Micromag that's exceptionally fun, but every time I let someone else shoot it I get negative feedback on how weird the trigger is.Originally posted by Dend78awesome ill take 12

The secret to the autoresponse frame is not to try to fire too fast. If you can manage a steady 6 pulls per second, the gun will shoot 12 balls per second. That's pretty awesome for a purely mechanical marker. If you can get 7 or 8 pulls per second, you'll scare women and children. lol. This frame changed the rules of tournament play back in the early 90's.Except for the Automag in front, its usually the man behind the equipment that counts.

I bet you could use an AutoResponse framed Mag on almost any field nowadays. We're in the paintball era were every kid has an ion that can do 15bps out of the box. The AR frame is kind of quaint by comparison. I can guarantee I could use it on any of the main TN fields I've played at, where they only take notice of you if you bonus ball kids, or blatanly rip up the field at 20bps+. No one would care.

If a picture is worth a thousand words, than a video has got to be worth a least one long post!

How much are these worth?
I picked up a mag meaning to snag the body and some small parts, and part out the frame.. asking $120, but I can't get a buyer.. Am I asking too much?

So what valves are these compatible with? I'm assuming no RT...
Is the safety able to be replaced? It looks like the same one found on some Benchys.
