    .45 expansion frame

I'm sure I spotted a thread recently where someone was asking about this, but can't seem to find it again.

Anyway, a bit of info on a old school 'mag frame made in the UK - advert and brief product review both from 1994 editions of PGi. Only ever seen one in the flesh and always wanted to own one.

Wow what an interesting "old school" concept. I wonder how well they worked on automags

      Hahaha...That's redonkulous!!!

There's one floating around on the forums. Only one I've ever seen. Good find on the picture. No one knew where the grip came from or who made them.

If there's any other info you can dig up plz post it.

Yes, John Sosta ran AGDE along with his wife Jackie. Powerpulse was the name of his company before he officially became AGD Europe. He was the original importer of Automags to the UK. John and Manike were the people who created the Euro and X-Mag, not sure if others (John Bonich maybe?) were involved.

That is pretty sweet. Kind of a precurser to the invert mini, and other markers with gas through frames. 106 pounds? Expensive.

I've seen 6 of these for automags, and, well 0 for VMs and Cockers. Were they ever made (does anyone know)?

You have to take into account just how expensive anything was back then compared to today. We didn't have $1500 highends and $200 designer pants, but markers that are now "cheap low ends" were a lot pricier and weren't low end. Also, most people didn't have local stores so you were at the mercy of mail-order pricing.

I saw one of these on PBnation a long time ago I think it was in the mag pictures thread, I don't think anyone knew what it really was.

EDIT found it, picture near the bottom of the page. http://www.pbnation.com/showthread.php?t=3251038

That was the guy who started a thread here recently, prompting this thread.
