A video for all you modifying maniacs

I finished this today, and I thought I'd share it on here. It's not really mag related, but I know some of you guys might be interested in this stuff.

If all goes well, I'll be posting a video later this year revealing some of the mods I've done to the mag design, and I think you're gonna like it!!

    Later,

    1) Nice vids...and nice work over the years on your crazy custom guns!

    2) You are in Germany? I have heard the Government killed paintball and made it illegal to own paintball guns. I have heard of swat team raids on playing fields with jail time and fines for players? Is this true?

A sterling is definitely on my "markers to own" list. The trigger is very sleek. Will the screw on the trigger trip the sear as easily if it is farther in? Does that change when you screw in, or out the screw?

That's amazing, i can't do the same thing with my phantom, but i will try polishing it, i forgot about that. I do love a nice smooth trigger pull.

snoopay-there are a few things you can do to a phantom, but you're riight, you can't get it to be like it is in the video.

leloup-what you don't see between the two video's is me adjusting the length of that screw. It's a trial and error thing, with tons of assembly and disassembly time. Once you have that length figured out, then you don't have much play left. So yes, by screwing the screw in or out, you are changing the engaging poing with the sear, but you're basically just lengthening the trigger pull.

          six days- 1) thanks
          2) I haven't heard of any swat team raids over hear, but you can get in trouble if you don't obey the laws in the books. (I posted them here a while back) Paintball is not illegal, but it's also not fun to play here like it is in the U.S. because the laws pretty much turn it into nerf dart tag.

If you look closely in the video, there's a new bolt that I made to replace that delrin junk one. I'm also working on a pump handle. Should be done this weekend.

I was wondering if you had made that.

Anyway, do you know of anything else you can do for a phantom short of a pneumatic assist? I play stock class when i play with it so that would be out of the question, and the only thing i can really think of is polishing the sear and the trigger.

If I was in the U.S. snoopay, I'd say send me your frame over and I'll tune it up for you. The phantom trigger is made of steel, so you can't do much to it directly. Just look at your contact points and the metal around it in the grip frame. Find logical places to tap some screw and then start adjusting from there. There is almost always a certain amount of "slop" you can take out of a trigger's travel that way.
If you like send me some shots of your internals and I'll give it some thought.
