    Excel barrel?

I've had a vitually unused ACI Zero-Gravity barrel I wanted to trade in to the local shop for whatever they'd give me. It's a nice barrel, but I hate the massive amounts of porting and the bore is like .693 so it is huge. Plus the muzzle seemed a bit delicate with the thin crowning.

While I was there I got a BNIB Dye Excel for $20. Seemed to be a .688 bore so it isn't too bad for being old and TL, so I said what the hell and got it. I could use an aftermarket for my 'mag anyway.

Anyone have experience with these? I have a friend with a 'cocker and a 14" Excel and he swears by it. It looks nice and it reminded me of a Lapco, so I thought it'd be a nice barrel to have for a spare if nothing else.

With an old AllAmerican I was getting the warp to milti-feed past the single detent. Anyone have experience force-feeding the Excel?
