    VenomousDesigns.com is now live

We still have a few minor things to do with the site "Add shopping cart and paypal feature"...but for the most part we are up and running.

Take a look around and let us know what you think.

I do love the look of your work. Your website however (and I have been eagerly awaiting one), does need a little help. My credentials - High School Business and Tech teacher, I teach html as well as website design.

The font, while cool, makes it very hard to read. If you have a dark back ground, you also need a lighter font color. That shade of red is too dark. The back ground picture, while also very cool, makes it necessary to have that white haze around the text, and should probably be scaled back to just a header or behind the links. The links also need to stand out a little more. The thumbnail pics (and most of the decorative pics in general) are a little too pixilated. Another tip, don't make us scroll down the page to get to the links for the other sections. The links themselves should also not open a new browser page (unless that is the effect you are really, really going for). If you go to just about any corporate website, and just look at their design, you can find ideas for what looks good and easy to navigate. What you did right - you obeyed the 3 click rule. Never have more than 3 clicks to get where you want to go, and you only have 1 or 2, which is perfect.

I hope this helps, and that I was not too harsh. Again, I am a fan of your work.

Looks good. Few minor tweaks that I'm sure you are already aware of.

Now you just need a forum...

I'll second leloup in that there needs to be a bit more contrast between a few items, but overall I think it looks good! Now, what about this preorder for the Evolution grips I see on your website?

thank you for your feedback. i do agree with you about the text....i will be working on that this week.

the one thing i wanted to avoid was having a "Normal" website.....but i see where i can improve it.
          Thanks again for your thoughts

Wrathbringer: i will have some info about the Evo grips very soon

i don't know what it looked like before but I like it now.

I would add all those links at the bottom, to the top of the page.

also the .swf file is smaller than the table it sits in. maybe thats just my browser. it's sitting in the upper left hand corner of the shapes.dll image.

Text is easier to read, yes. I agree with moving the links to the top so you don't have to scroll down. If you want to do something different, you could put the links on the side in a web, maybe as flies.
