    06 angel Speed

    Hey all,

A buddy of mine is getting laid off, and he offered me his 2006 angel speed for $300. Is this a worthwhile deal? I don't care for electronic markers at all, and I will definitely resell it.

What are these going for right now? I have searched these forums and PB nation to no avail.

He is an avid player and takes great care of his equip, but I have not seen the marker yet. I am going to assume it is in good condition.

    Thanks.

If it's well teken care of, then that's a fair deal. Not an awesome deal. If you're just planning on reselling it, then you probably won't make much money off it, if any.

The 06 and 05 speeds are IMO the best Angels. If he has an aftermarket board in it, it would be worth about $300... especially if it is an Angel GAT, which is a limited edition 06 speed.

Quick look over on PBN shows one for $280 (and then the same one for $300), and another for $260 with dead eyes. Eyes are now available from a couple sources, so I wouldn't let that get in your way if you're looking at those.

As mentioned, with a board, or if it's the Gat model (yeah, I ran a search for Gat, and came up essentially empty other than a couple old threads), it's well worth $300. If it's bone-stock, probably go a touch lower.
