And I have to give props to my great friend JimBud who I have had the great pleasure of teaming up with for over 20 years.

We took over the airball field with little resistance. That's when I started yelling for the Blues Crew to make a stand (...silence...). Jim and I both knew the last threat was from the woods across the road. Jim with characteristic cunning and experience jumps the road and sets up at a hole just outside the bushes looking into the abyss.

This is where working in tandem with a teamate you know, can give you chills. I yelled out "what do we have?!" Without even turning my way to see if I was yelling at him, he silently raises two fingers and motions his hand through an arc into the woods. I yell to the guys "only two guys deep in the woods, we need to take the woods!".

I then see Jim just twitch to penetrate the perimeter of the woods but the rest of the guys were not moving yet and he would have been hung out to dry. I yell "HOLD!" and like a cat he gets back down on his haunches and aborts the move.

I moved up to another clearing at the edge of the woods to his left waiting for others to position for an 'on-line' penetration, but they didn't come. A paintball appeared out of the darkness and took me out....

Leaving the field I had time to think of all the really great experiences I have had in paintball. Its really amazing that even after all these years, with the right people, I can still have another one.

Sounds like you enjoyed yourself... I have found that it's all about who you are playing with and surrounded by. Once we stopped doing walk on speedball games and concentrated on building our own group to run with we really started enjoying the sport much more.

Artie would be pissed that Beemer called in reinforcements I suspect Artie would come better prepared.

It was good to see you out at LL3 and it's even better to know you got some games in and had some fun.

Your compressor donation to Bob Gurnsey was also very generous.

Glad to hear TK is back at it. And John... I know you from way back.when. Do you still shoot a mag after all these years?? I still have mine but it hasn't seen much use in about 5 years but hope to be able to bring it back to life sooner than later.

I still have a couple Mags for sure. I am selling one now, but I'm keeping an RT and a Minimag.
