Quick tip (yay for old mag orings!)

Just a quick supid trick.

I fixed a leaking female QD fitting off the field. Turns out, the large on/off oring is the exact size as the QD fittings need, except they're in the higher quality polyurethane, not Buna. Much tighter fit now. I can't imagine this will ever wear out or leak again. Higher durometer/less flexible too, so it's more "blast out" resistant. I've lost orings with these parts when that happens.

Save your old orings!

Good to know, thanks. I am in the habit of saving my old orings for situations just like this (unless the orings are torn). There is an advantage to being cheap
