    Where my Westwoods at?

I am playing a return, sorta, to pb. I really just want to play a few times a year. So I have been hitting the classifieds, picked up some e lowers (looking for an X valve and body), and was wondering......where are the westwoods at?

Who is still a collector of these fine cockers?

I collect them (though my website appears to be down, wtf?). They only come up for sale about once a year tops, and are in a small handful of mech cockers that have retained their value pretty well.

2k1 member, probably mostly posts in stickied threads or threads that don't die, so his old posts are still around.

I think the last Westwood I saw was on American Pickers.

Thanks for the link. Interesting, didn't know there were over 200 made. Alwasy wanted a westwood, I still want one of docs fastbacks.

There was a mislabeled one on ebay about a month ago. It had a crappy anno and a left feed, and very little in terms of high-end parts. It was also a little tricky to find. It still went for 650. The nicer splashed ones go up maybe once a year and sell for above $1000. Customcockers is a good spot to see them. They're my favorite cockers by a long shot, esp the silver to blue reverse splash fades.
