Does this work out at all? Is it comfortable?
How well does a Z-grip work with a Warp setup?

Well, yeah, sorta.
Z-grip's are old school- you're meant to place the tank on your shoulder and your hopper would then be at face level. Your wrist would then be straight as opposed to bent to fire.
As long as you have a good handle on the front of your gun you shouldn't have a problem. I've found warps and z's to be a bit cramped and not ambidexterous (can't flip to your other hand). But they get the sweet wow factor. -
Eh, but half the point of a warp is to not have to be ambidextrous.Originally posted by DrixAs long as you have a good handle on the front of your gun you shouldn't have a problem. Might have to do a special mount on it, I'm not sure you'd want it to sweep forward like normal, but alot is going to depend on how your tank mounts, and clearances from that.

These are just pics...not sure if there are any Z framed warps in them. I have a pic somewhere of mine.

EDIT: Found another..

its a tight setup, the hopper is close to your face and chin, so if you have a large mask like a spectre or flex 8 it will most likely be in the way. I found a flex 7 or a dye mask etc works best since it will push the bottom in instead of pushing your whole mask around.

the hopper you choose will also affect this, as you can see in the pic the hopper and back of the gun is right up against me, it would be a bit more forward with a z-grip as opposed to the y-gripLast edited by Chronobreak; 08-09-2010, 07:08 AM.

I personally used my warp to not have to switch hands,... but I guess that all depends on the player. I ran mine on an E-Mag.Originally posted by Drix
